Croquet Evening
The Duncton Croquet Club have kindly invited us back for our annual visit to their beautiful grounds for a game or two followed by a shared supper. Please sign up at the May meeting so we know numbers and what people would like to bring. £5 per member on the night please.

Stedham WI member Jane will tell you all about her fresh start after a career in teaching and the discovery of a creative world and a passion that she didn’t know she had!.

New Year Party
Come along to a social evening and bring along some tasty nibbles to share.
Bring and Buy and Cheese and Wine
After a brief review of this year’s resolution and a vote we will move onto the fun part of the evening! Please bring along your contribution for the Bring and Buy, which will have a gardening and houseplant theme, and your cash to buy something. This is a fund raising event with prices only expected to be up to about £5.
The committee will serve cheese and wine instead of our usual refreshments and there should be plenty of time to catch up with all your friends.
Poisonous Plots
Sheila Willis presents a fascinating insight into devious and deadly deeds. What was the most used poison in the Victorian era? Have you got poison lurking in your garden?
AGM and Quiz
After the AGM business the committee will challenge your little grey cells!

Rachel will introduce us to Quilting with the help of her friends from the Midhurst Quilters and we’ll find out that it’s so much more than just quilting!

Heather Wylde will lead us in a workshop that will prove that anyone can draw a tiger!
Resolutions evening, Cheese and Wine
Our annual discussion of the proposed resolutions and a vote on which our members would like to see taken forward this year will be followed by cheese and wine and a sales table. Please bring along contributions for the sales table.
Body Through the Porthole
Steve Herra will present an entertaining tale of desire, death and deceit. The audience’s role is to play the jury!

A talk by Bill Avenell exploring the historic significance and geographical origins of some of the iconic views in West Sussex.

Penny Clark will come to talk to us about the wonderful work that Canine Partners do.
Below Stairs
Timespan’s Historical Presentations will tell us all about life below stairs in 1880-1914, with costumes, stories and artefacts from the era.
Festive Corn craft
Hannah will lead us in creating festive Corn craft decorations over mulled wine and mince pies.
Grannies Can Do Anything
Tess Burrows will present a talk about walking to the South Pole.
Hattie and Flo's Flower Arranging Demonstration
Local florist's Kate and Elise will be demonstrating their lovely flower arranging style and showing us how to make the most of cut flowers.
Bignor Roman Villa
Lisa Hayes gives an animated talk with slides and handling of artefacts, exploring the Roman, Georgian and modern day history of this fabulous site.
Garden Party
Our annual bring and share supper will be hosted at Jane Peel’s house in Stedham. Please sign up for what you would like to contribute. Bring your own chair, crockery and cutlery please. We will decamp to the village hall if the weather decides not to play!

Professor Bill Dawson will talk to us about the history of both herbal and modern medicine.
Beetle drive/ Christmas Party
Due to yet another cancellation, the committee will host a Beetle Drive followed by our delayed Christmas party. Cheese, wine and fun hosted by the committee.
Felting - A Hoglet Workshop
Alison Hemmings will lead a demonstration and workshop where members can create their own needlefelt hedgehog. Please note the slightly earlier start time.
